No new COVID cases in the last 24 hours

Jamaica is enjoying another day of having no new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, even as recoveries climbed to 284, up from 279 in the last 24 hours.

The island now has a 49.9 per cent recovery rate while the number of confirmed cases remain at 569. 

Some 335 or 59% of the 569 confirmed cases are females and 234 or 41% are males.

Their ages range from two months to 87 years.

Jamaica has done a total of 11,460 tests for COVID-19. In addition to the 569 positive results, there have been 10,858 negatives and 33 results are pending.
