Stamma Gramma returns with new project
Stamma Gramma, an artiste/producer, who has been away from the entertainment scene for more than five years, has returned with a 28-track Freddy v Jason rhythm compilation.
The project features many dancehall heavy-hitters like Jahvillani, Chronic Law and Blak Ryno, as well as a host of up-and-coming acts.
"I wanted to provide a balance of symmetry between the established artists of the genre and the underground artistes of the genre," Stamma Gramma said.
Stamma Gramma said that the project involves a theme of rivalry and adversary between the featured artistes.
"Di riddim have bare rival yuh zimmi. A long time we nuh see a juggling inna dancehall wid so much artistes weh not even like each other. But guess wah, a music business alone me deal wid," Stamma Gramma said.
Stamma Gramma hopes that his latest release will spark the minds and the ambitions of the great producers and artistes to revive the once prestigious rhythm juggling culture in Jamaican music.
